Support the History Department

History is not just found in the dusty pages of a textbook; it is etched into the cobblestones of ancient cities, the architecture of sacred temples, and the lived experiences of cultures across the globe.

The MSU Denver Department of History is committed to bringing these narratives to life through our transformative Faculty-Led Study Abroad Programs. The Department of History leads 2-3 study abroad programs annually that host 20-30 MSU Denver undergraduates but for many Roadrunners, the dream of studying abroad is often out of reach due to financial barriers.

We hope to raise funds to directly support our students and faculty as they step out of the classroom and onto the world stage. Study abroad courses are often thousands of dollars, amounts that are prohibitive to most students at MSU Denver. Every dollar raised stays right here at MSU Denver, as contributions will be allocated to a dedicated History Department Travel Fund to lower the cost of participation for students with demonstrated financial need as well as help support faculty who create, lead, teach, and care for the student travelers. We seek to help with reducing program fees, airfare costs, and creating a level playing field for students from all socioeconomic backgrounds.
