Gender Institute for Teaching and Advocacy
The Gender Institute for Teaching and Advocacy is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year! We sponsor eight scholarships in alignment with its vision of a queer feminist future, in which people and communities are free from all forms of oppression and fear. We envision a world in which liberated communities live with dignity and joy!

This year we are raising money for our sponsored scholarships and the Gender Institute for Teaching and Advocacy, which supports the education of students at Metropolitan State University of Denver who encounter daily various forms of oppression. Women, non-binary, queer, students of color, immigrants and activists particularly encouraged to apply to our scholarships.

In honor of GITA's 40th Anniversary and our recent move into a new space, we particularly encourage you to donate to the Gender Institute for Teaching and Advocacy fund.
