The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) student organization at MSU Denver is dedicated to empowering Hispanic, ChicanX and LatinX students to realize their full potential in STEM fields, fostering STEM awareness, access, support and development within the Hispanic community. We are a growing group of passionate students determined to make a lasting impact on the STEM world, and we need your help to achieve our goals.

Our Mission:

- Empowering Hispanic Students: SHPE provides Hispanic, ChicanX and LatinX students with the resources, support and opportunities they need to succeed in STEM careers.

- Increasing STEM Awareness and Access: We strive to make STEM education more accessible and foster skills development, while creating strong support systems to help students thrive.

- Building a Supportive Community SHPE creates a sense of "Familia," offering networking, professional development and personal growth opportunities in an inclusive environment.

-Professional Growth and Scholarships: From resume workshops to career fairs and scholarships like Scholar SHPE, SHPE helps students develop the professional skills they need to succeed in their careers.
