Dancers are athletes (and artists, entrepreneurs, intelligent collaborators, positive change makers). Help us raise money to start a scholarship fund for these athletes! Our challenge to you is to raise as much money for dancing athletes as for other athletes at MSU Denver.
Too often, dance is dismissed. People say it’s not a real discipline, that dancers aren’t athletes, that movement is just entertainment. But at MSU Denver, we know the truth: dance transforms lives.
Our dancers are more than artists—we are athletes, innovators, educators, and community leaders. We push through exhaustion and self-doubt to master movement, history, physics, business, and storytelling. We build strength—not just in our bodies, but in our minds and our communities.
While other athletic programs receive critical funding, dance is left behind. Without financial support, our dancing students are left behind. Our program loses its ability to grow and reach those who most need it.
