Hello Roadrunner Community Stakeholders and Partners, Alumni, Faculty and Staff! The Department of Nursing really needs your contribution to lean into this health equity initiative and support these emerging nursing providers.
MSU Denver GIVING Day is HERE and we want to be your philanthropic project of choice!
We successfully launched Fall 2024 Inaugural Cohort of the Nursing International Clinical Pathway Study Abroad with our newest clinical partner Manna Mission Hospital in Accra, Ghana. Now, we have students waiting for Fall 2025, but cost is a barrier. Research shows that first-generation College students who have a study abroad experience are more likely to complete their degree. Metropolitan State University of Denver has established an International Clinical Site to expose nursing students, your future health care providers, to cultures and communities beyond their own.
While we can’t guarantee we will have a provider who represents every community, we can support the efforts to prepare health care providers who are better equipped to SEE and UNDERSTAND the communities they serve!
Please view this philanthropic opportunity as a way to advocate for you and your family's future of healthy outcomes and sponsor a student today. For example:
- $3800 sponsors a student's full international clinical experience
- $500 pays for electricity for a week for the group
- $150 pays for a student's cultural site tour
- $100 supports a student to obtain an entry VISA
- $30 supports one day of 3-meals for each student
