Unlocking the full potential of education requires breaking down barriers, and especially for non-traditional students, study abroad serves as the ultimate catalyst for empowerment.

Just as athletes train to compete on the global stage, students need the immersive experience of international education to enhance their skills and broaden their perspectives. Your contribution becomes a beacon, enabling these scholars to have a transformative cross-cultural experience where they will hurdle linguistic barriers, navigate diverse knowledge landscapes, and sprint towards a well-rounded global understanding. Developing a global mindset, building cross-cultural skills and becoming engaged in the world can profoundly influence a student’s life and future career.

The College of Business’ International Business Program is committed to offering life changing experiences for students through short-term travel courses. These courses, including 10 - 14 day trips to Costa Rica, Argentina, China, Vietnam & Thailand, provide students with the opportunity to learn about the country’s business environment, governing structures, and unique culture. Your support helps students learn about complex business, economic, and cultural issues through business meetings and tours, discussions with business and government leaders, cultural experiences, and personal reflection. We aspire to innovate with each journey, continually offering new and impactful study experiences to diverse country markets.

Your Support
Our goal is to create global travel experiences for as many students as possible. Paying for the course and travel is the primary barrier for MSU Denver students. The funds will be used for study abroad scholarships for students in the College of Business to help them defray the costs of participating in this global study course.

• $50 – Cultural understanding is the most challenging part of doing business. Your gift of $50 will help us purchase tickets for cultural activities.
• $100 - Your gift of $100 will help us conduct one educational session with entrepreneurs in a foreign country for a group of students.
• $250 - Your gift of $250 can help us provide in-country transportation for our students.
• $500 – When we study intensively for a couple of weeks, there is a lot to learn quickly! Your gift of $500 can cover the cost of a city business tour for an entire group of students.
