Loyola Asian Student Organization (LASO)

Mission Statement

The Loyola Asian Student Organization is dedicated to promoting the awareness of Asian culture on Loyola’s campus, as well as within the New Orleans community. Our goal is executed through the various services that we provide to other campus organizations, the New Orleans community and to ourselves. LASO strives to unite people of all ethnic backgrounds and to bridge all cultural gaps that may inhibit diversity.

Who We Are

As a cultural organization, the Loyola Asian Student Organization wants to provide an inclusive safe place for the minorities at Loyola University, especially for the Asian population. Funds to our organization will help enrich LASO's programming to fulfill our mission and objective to overcome obstacles and bring together ethnicities of all backgrounds. The funds raised will provide the opportunity to showcase different cultures, foods, and a variety of different traditions. As well as combining and connecting Asian heritage and other cultures across the world to promote inclusivity, diversity, and community.
