Philanthropy Day is a 24-hour fundraising event during which the Loomis Chaffee community is invited to come together and showcase its incredible strength and spirit by making gifts to the Annual Fund. Since its inception, more than $3 million has been raised from more than 10,000 Philanthropy Day gifts!
If 1,250 donors give to the Annual Fund on February 24, Mary Bucksbaum Scanlan ’87 will generously contribute $125,000 to support our students, faculty, and staff.
Your participation will make an immediate impact on every aspect of life at Loomis Chaffee from classroom and experiential learning to faculty resources, residential life, arts, and athletics. Every gift, regardless of size, truly does make a difference. Participation is what matters.

We've extended 💪EmPOWERment Hour💪 another 15 minutes until 9:15pm (EST)... getting really close to that full $5,000 match. KUOdos to our young Pelicans!

KUOdos to the parents from the Classes of 2024 and 2025 who reached their respective challenge goals and unlocked a $25,000 (2024) and $30,000 (2025) gift. We still have work to do to reach our overall challenge goal, so let's keep it going!
