Student Care Emergency Fund

The spirit of this funding is primarily to support students' financial wellness and personal wellbeing in emergency circumstances. The goal is to help prevent an unexpected hardship to jeopardize a student's academic journey. This fund is intended to be a supplemental financial resource when students are unable to meet immediate and essential expenses due to unexpected, unforeseen, and unavoidable circumstances. In less than one year this fund has supported students with over $11,000 of financial support.

OID Fund

Lipscomb has experienced an increase in the number of underrepresented students attending the institution. However, the number of minority students participating in non-athletic-related extracurricular activities has not experienced the same increase. Finances are one of the primary barriers students express that prevent them from participating in those activities.

The OID Fund was created to reduce the financial burden and help make these choices a little easier for students. The OID Fund provides funds students can apply toward academic-related expenses (books, electronics, supplies, etc.), academic conference travel, study abroad fees, mission trip fees, social club dues and other extracurricular activities.

Singarama

Singarama is one of Lipscomb University’s longest-running traditions. Every year, it promises to be a fun-filled night of entertainment with these three original mini-musicals written, choreographed, performed, and produced exclusively by students. While the show is ultimately a competition, it accomplishes the much larger goal of giving students the chance to develop their leadership skills, writing skills, deep friendships, and unknown talents. Doing this all while learning what it means to commit to something bigger than one’s self.

As many alumni, parents, and students are aware there are an extensive number of resources needed to put on a show. Singarama is a source of pride that is now generations deep. This fund was created to assist in many of the needs of the show. Donate to ensure Singarama remains one of the highlights of the Spring semester for the Lipscomb community.
