About

Mathematics is one of the few subjects at Lincoln with no specific endowments at all. Stipendiary Lecturer in Pure Mathematics, Ursel Kiehne, will be retiring from Lincoln after over 25 years of service and there is a real risk that this post could be lost. We are urgently seeking to endow a tutorial fellowship in pure mathematics, which is the most vulnerable area.

The full cost of endowing a tutorial fellowship is £1.5 Million. We are starting with a goal of £50,000 on the site to give us a good foundation moving forward. Gifts of all sizes can make a great difference to securing a fellowship in pure maths, particularly when invested with our endowment.
