For generations, Lewis' WLRA radio station has been the heartbeat of our campus community, setting the rhythm for students’ lives and future careers. Supporting WLRA ensures that the station continues to play a vital role in our university’s radio and broadcasting legacy, truly a Chicagoland legacy that began in 1973 and has been resonating ever since.
One of WLRA's goals is to establish a permanent, high-tech Wall of Fame which will celebrate and recognize the achievements of its alumni from the past 50 years. The wall will highlight alumni careers in broadcasting as well as accomplishments during their time at WLRA. Up-to-date technology and real- world broadcasting experiences have been provided because of the generosity of WLRA’s alumni. It’s time to recognize those individuals who have gotten WLRA to where it is today.
