In June of 2025, through Lewis’ Office of Mission and Ministry, Flyers plan to travel to Bago City, Philippines, where they will build homes for those in need. With the tagline, "Build a house, build a home," this initiative embodies a powerful mission: constructing physical dwellings while fostering lasting connections and creating a symphony of shared humanity. Participants live at St. La Salle and work side by side with local students, reinforcing Lasallian values of service, community, and education.
Hunter ’26, an Exercise Science major, reflects, "My trip to Bacolod has been my greatest experience in life and my favorite so far at Lewis. It has taught me so much about love and God and helped me grow as a person. I’m grateful I was able to attend this trip. I can’t wait to go again next year!"
