Gifts to Engineers Without Borders contribute to...
The Lehigh University chapter of Engineers Without Borders aims to better communities around the world through environmentally sustainable engineering solutions. Our largest project has been ongoing for the past three years, where we have designed a new water distribution system to be implemented in the Dominican Republic. This new system will be able to provide the town of La Recta de Sanita clean running water, a resource this community of nearly 500 residents has not had access to since 2009. Having taken several assessment trips already, we are now preparing to travel to the Dominican Republic again this summer to begin our building process.
By donating to Engineers Without Borders, you can help us make our third trip to the Dominican Republic this upcoming Summer where we will start constructing our designed water distribution system in the Dominican Republic and running water tests to make sure the water delivered is clean. Your donations will help us begin implementation and allow us to provide for the residents of La Recta de Sanita with clean water as soon as possible!
