The Lehigh University Steel Bridge Team is passionate about applying engineering knowledge towards developing solutions to practical design problems, as defined by the SSBC rules. Our goal is to design and build a bridge that will excel in competition by abiding and efficiently maximizing our performance in the NSSBC categories - from construction economy and speed to lightness and aesthetics. We aim to score high at the Mid-Atlantic Regionals and ultimately receive an invitation to Nationals. All gifts and donations will directly fund our teams registration fees, travel expenses for competition, building supplies (nuts, bolts, etc.), and equipment for the fabrication of the bridge.
