Baja SAE is an engineering club that focuses on the construction of a single seated off-roading vehicle. Every year, we build and race a new car that is designed to withstand tough terrain. Through student dedication, countless hours go into preparing our car for competition where we race with over a hundred university teams from across North and South America.
Through our club, students have the opportunity to develop new skills, such as how to use CAD software and how to weld, while applying classroom knowledge to hands-on applications. Whether we are redesigning a sub-system on our car or repairing it on-site at competition, we are gaining valuable experience that will positively impact our future as engineers!
All funds raised contribute towards expenses of building the car and attending our two yearly competitions!
