Girls Who Code (GWC) College Loop at Lehigh University is dedicated towards empowering ambitious women in technology by providing them with the resources, opportunities, and support necessary to thrive in their careers. Our mission is to provide a focused platform for women to advance their careers in tech, fostering innovation, creativity, and leadership skills.
We provide professional development workshops including resume building, networking, technical interviews and organize group attendance at conferences like Grace Hopper and Harvard WECode, and Forte to foster innovation and collaboration. Our members include interns at top companies like JPMorgan Chase, TIAA, Capital One, LinkedIn, and more, showcasing the success of our programs.
Why This Campaign Matters
The purpose of this project will fund conference opportunities for women in tech, particularly the Grace Hopper Conference (GHC), one of the largest gatherings of women in technology. Attending such conferences is crucial for networking, skill-building, and accessing job opportunities, especially in the current challenging job market for computer science graduates.
