The American Sign Language (ASL) Club is dedicated to making Lehigh a more inclusive and accessible community. Our mission is to create a welcoming space where students can learn ASL, engage with Deaf culture, and build communication skills that foster equity and understanding. Through free weekly lessons, interactive events with Deaf guest speakers, and creative workshops, we show how sign language enriches everyday life while making it approachable, fun, and engaging.
Our goal is to make ASL education more visible on campus through hands-on events, collaborations with other student groups, and social gatherings with Deaf guests that build stronger community connections. Gifts will fund event supplies, accessibility resources, and opportunities to bring Deaf leaders and artists to Lehigh—helping us break down barriers and create a more inclusive, culturally aware campus.
