About

This is a sensory-friendly space in the Clayton UC that will support the well-being of students. While any student may use and benefit from this sensory space, it may be particularly beneficial for students who have sensory sensitivities, such as neurodivergent students. This space will serve as a safe, accessible, and calming environment. Students will be able to access sensory tools and other resources designed to help with emotional regulation and stress management. With this purpose in mind, the space will have design features (lighting, auditory, tactile) that aim to manage sensory overload and reduce stress. The room will serve as a respite from other busy areas on campus that some students find overstimulating.

Your donation will support the vision and purchasing of items to create this well-being space for students. This includes furniture and various sensory-friendly items and needs.
