United Nations Association Lehigh Chapter

UNA Lehigh is the official United Nations Association chapter at Lehigh University. We support the principles and vital work of the United Nations, strengthening the United Nations system, and achieving the goals of the United Nations Charter.

The United Nations Association of the USA (UNA-USA) is a movement of Americans who believe that our interests and values can best be advanced by standing with the planet’s only truly universal institution: The United Nations. We stand up for the UN so the UN can keep standing up for the world.

Through activities and events for the wider Lehigh community, we aim to advocate for the United Nations and its mission. We promote its work, share its values, and hope to contribute to solutions that ensure we meet the targets set by the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.

Funds will cover the registration and transportation costs for 50 LU students to attend the Global Engagement Summit at the UN headquarters in NYC. Students will engage with U.S. and UN officials, community leaders, young professionals, and subject matter experts from across the country to delve into the mission and lifesaving work of the United Nations and sit in the seats of decision makers.
