Gifts to Beekeeping Club contribute to...
The Lehigh Beekeeping Club looks to promote student engagement involving environmental sustainability efforts through the education and hand-on experience provided by the art of beekeeping. We maintain and observe at least one hive on campus year-round with our honeybees pollinating up to 5 miles of the surrounding area. Our organization works to educate both the students and local community on the importance of the honeybee population in maintaining the surrounding ecosystems at Lehigh. Our club aligns with Lehigh's current Sustainability Strategic Plan Initiative and members pride themselves on being involved in a passionate, environmentally impactful club.
Our project goal is to be able to maintain and grow our honeybee hives located on Goodman Campus. Our mission is to keep our bees alive and flourishing in order to positively impact our surrounding communities.
