Thank you for your support! We're still counting!

We are deeply grateful for the incredible generosity and momentum behind Give Big. Give Bobcat.

The totals displayed on this dashboard reflect gifts and commitments received and processed to date and should be considered preliminary, rather than final totals.

We are committed to ensuring that every eligible gift and pledge associated with the campaign is fully counted and recognized. Final campaign results will be reported after a comprehensive review and reconciliation of all contributions.

If you have made a gift or commitment that you believe should be included in campaign totals, we encourage you to connect with our Advancement Office. Our team is happy to work with you to ensure your support is accurately recorded and reflected in campaign reporting.

About

The Fund for Lees-McRae Video Thumbnail

The college-wide priority. The greatest flexibility. The biggest impact.

The Fund for Lees-McRae provides the support that powers the college’s most important priorities and allows the college flexibility to respond to urgent and transformative needs.

Known as unrestricted giving, this fund addresses what matters most in the moment — scholarships, academic programs, student services, and improvements to the spaces where students live and learn. From classroom innovation to campus improvements across our mountain home, this fund ensures the college can continue building an educational experience that is both distinctive and transformative.

Because these gifts are unrestricted, the college can respond quickly when new opportunities arise or unexpected challenges emerge.

A gift to The Fund for Lees-McRae helps:

  • Provide funds for immediate scholarship support to recruit and retain highly accomplished students, like: Mia Adkins of Maryville, Tennessee; Margaret Lorms of Holly Springs, North Carolina; and Claire McDonald of Naples, Florida — who all just won the Elizabeth McRae Scholarship (covering four years of undergrad full tuition).
  • Close the gap for those students who can make a meaningful impact at Lees-McRae, but who need financial assistance to make it possible.
  • Elevate our student profile with students from all over the world, like Saige Jones who traveled across the nation to pursue a Pre-Vet degree at Lees-McRae
  • Invest in academic excellence and innovative programs, such as the new Tourism and Resort Management program, putting students on the cutting edge of new and bustling careers and industries.
  • Improve campus infrastructure and student spaces, like the enhancements needed when South Campus was purchased to prepare it for classrooms, recreation, and living spaces; and the renovation of the Historic Commons.
  • The flexibility to meet the college’s most urgent priorities, whether responding to hurricane relief or pivoting to embrace new opportunities.
