Sam was a graduate of Traverse City West High School, class of 2019 and pursued his passions for Mechanical Engineering and baseball at Lawrence Technological University, graduating with honors in the class of 2023.
A remarkable individual, revered by his community, Sam was known for his exceptional athleticism, academic achievements and unwavering dedication to everything he pursued. He lived out his faith by his actions in how he treated all those he came in contact with. Sam’s magnetic personality drew people to him. He was admired for his genuine kindness, infectious laughter, his amazing smile and the profound love he had for life.
This scholarship would be given to recognize a student athlete who demonstrates exceptional academic achievement and best represents Sam’s characteristics including kindness, respect, superior work-ethic, positivity, team first attitude and leading by example.
