For the past 48 years, Rob Bordley '66 has epitomized the Landon teacher-coach-mentor model that our students and alumni experience. As many know, Rob will step down as varsity lacrosse head coach at the end of this season, following a lacrosse coaching career that includes more than 650 wins (fourth all-time), 31 Interstate Athletic Conference (IAC) titles, and four No. 1 national rankings. He is a five-time Washington Post Coach of the Year and a member of the Rugby Hall of Fame.
There are two events planned to celebrate Rob Bordley '66. On April 27, Landon School will host a post-game reception immediately following the Varsity Lacrosse game. An email invitation has already been sent, and you can RSVP HERE. Also, we will be honoring Rob and the enormous impact he has had at Landon at a very special event on November 9, 2018. More details about this event will be sent out shortly.
Many Landon alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends of the school have already contributed gifts this year to Landon Fund in Rob’s honor.
