"Bears Band Together" for KU

Our commitment firmly remains on ensuring the well-being of our students, faculty, staff, and all those who consider Kutztown University a second home. We are inspired by the willingness of our alumni and friends to help our community through this crisis.

If you feel inspired and are in a position to support KU, please consider a gift to this campaign for the Bears Band Together fund.

A gift to this fund helps provide:

• Relief from tuition payment difficulties that have arisen due to family members losing income that was earmarked for these costs.
• Fund for students who have lost wages or jobs they depend on to pay for their education and support themselves or their families.
• Computers and internet access for students who will not otherwise be able to complete their coursework.
• Assistance with emergency moving and transportation expenses.
• Immediate support for students facing housing challenges or food insecurity.
• Resources for students who need emergency medical and mental health services.
• The entire KU community as we face unexpected emergency expenses.

All funds raised will be administered and distributed by the KU Care Team to ensure equity and support for the students in greatest need.

Members of the Kutztown University Foundation Board have offered a dollar-for-dollar match up to $10,000 to aid these efforts.

We are grateful to our community for stepping up and demonstrating the character that makes Kutztown University unique. Together, we’re golden.
