🌸 KU Sport Business Institute (KUSBI) & Undergraduate Research Program: KUSBI provides consulting services to sport industry entities at all levels, giving students real-world experience in sport management. Its Undergraduate Research Program places students with U.S. sport organizations, engaging them in research competitions, conferences, and journal publications.
🌸 Applied Investment Management (AIM): A distinguished investment committee comprised of the top students at Kutztown University’s College of Business. This student-led committee is hand-selected and tasked with managing a diversified portfolio of equity and fixed-income securities endowed by the Kutztown University Foundation.
The committee aims to generate an above-average, risk-adjusted return over the fiscal year. Specifically, the committee conducts various financial analyses, incorporating research from public filings to create individual pitch books based on a position of "buy, hold, or sell.”
🌸 Business & Entrepreneurship Competitions: Competitions throughout programs within the College of Business aid in the develop business professional and innovative leaders. The Business Idea Competition challenges students to create and present business concepts to industry professionals. The Collegiate Financial Plan Competition hones financial analysis skills, while the Liquid Digital Marketing Competition tests students' ability to execute marketing strategies. The Business Analytics Competition focuses on data-driven decision-making, and the Sport Sales Competition builds sales expertise in the sports industry.
