This year, 50 first-year students were awarded the Board of Governors Scholarship, which covers the cost of tuition for up to eight semesters. Through the 1866 Giving Challenge, we hope to raise funds to support additional scholarship opportunities for these students. The funds raised will help provide financial assistance that Board of Governors scholars can apply for and be awarded at the end of the academic year.
In addition, proceeds from this fundraiser will help us purchase supplies for future fundraising efforts that support and promote our annual Advocacy Project. Every dollar raised helps us expand our impact, provide greater support to our students, and strengthen our programming throughout the year.
Our goal is to raise $300 through this year's 1866 Giving Challenge, and we appreciate the support of everyone who contributes to helping our students succeed.
