Bearfest is one of the longest running KU traditions, bringing the KU community together for four fun filled days of events, activities and memories. This is used to celebrate the hard work and accomplishments of our students through traditional events and activities. What makes this even more special is that the entire event is student run, through the committee that plans all 4 days of Bearfest to the volunteers who bring activities to life.
The support of the KU community and the 1866 Giving Challenge plays a vital role in helping Bearfest continue to thrive. Your support aids in raising funds to cover necessary programming supplies, event expenses, and important traditions such as the Foam Slide and Casino Night!
Every contribution, no matter the size, helps make Bearfest 48 possible and ensures a special KU tradition can last for countless Golden Bears!
