Support Women's Basketball at K!

Our entire staff is energized about our recent successes and the future of our program. We have a great group of dedicated, high-character and selfless student-athletes that represent themselves, our team and Kalamazoo College in a positive manner. Last year, we were able to have our best season since 2017-18. We gained confidence as a team and elevated our standard as a program to another level.

• We more than doubled our win total from the previous year and continued to rise in the MIAA standings.
• Ruby Hogan '27 earned Second Team All-MIAA honors last season, as well as a spot on BCAM Women's College Academic-Athlete Honor team with fellow teammate Lauren Vanderstelt '26. Lauren also was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
• The team earned an overall GPA of 3.35 for the last academic year with six of our student-athletes being named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll (GPA of 3.5 or higher for the year).
  

This current season has been one of growth and resilience with many injuries and illnesses affecting the consistency of our line-ups. We are excited to be hitting our stride in league play and competing to earn a spot in the MIAA tournament.

• Lauren Vanderstelt is Top 5 in the NCAA DIII in Blocks Per Game and broke the Kalamazoo College season and career block records on the January 31 game against Olivet.
• We also currently sit Top 5 in the NCAA DIII in blocks per game as a team.
• This past Fall term, our team earned a team GPA of 3.3, once again showing their dedication in the classroom.

Please consider making a gift to the Kalamazoo Women’s Basketball program. Past generosity has allowed us to take team trips, provide quality team-building experiences and purchase necessary equipment, including new jerseys and warm-ups. Past donor support also enabled us to add a new shooting machine and other training tools to enhance our team's experience and abilities.
