Support Football at K!

As the newly appointed head coach of the football team, I’m energized about our recent successes and the bright future ahead.

Last fall our week one match up at Austin College in Sherman, TX resulted in a hard-fought win against a well-coached opponent. The trip was a great introduction to college football for players new to our team, and an amazing experience for our veteran athletes. This gave our program positive momentum which translated into victories over our other non-conference opponents and provided our players with memories that will last a lifetime.

Our players continue to excel off the field:

• The team posted a 3.29 cumulative GPA last year.
• Eleven players were honored by the National Football Foundation and eight players selected to the CSC Academic All-District Team.

And on the field:

• Two players earned All-MIAA recognition.
• Senior WR Lucas Hanifan set the school record for receptions in a season and was selected to the D3football.com All-Region Third Team.
• Our roster has grown to a record 107 student-athletes—the largest in school history.

To build on this momentum and provide the best experience for our players, we are raising funds to purchase a Coach-to-Player communication system which will be coming to the Division III level this fall. This will allow our Offensive/Defensive Coordinators to speak directly to a player on the field via a helmet speaker. We are excited about this opportunity and hope to have it in place by spring to give coaches and players time to be proficient with the new technology.
