Support Cross Country at K!

We had a great 2023 and took time to reflect on all that we accomplished over the past year:

• Our women's team won the Aurora Invite and placed 4^th in the MIAA for the 3^rd consecutive year.
• The men's team jumped another two spots in the MIAA to rise from 8^th to 4^th over the last 2 seasons.
• 15 student-athletes had GPAs over 3.5 to earn a spot on the fall 2023 Dean's list. Both teams again earned All-Academic Team honors from the United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association.
• The men's team finished 25^th in the NCAA Great Lakes Region, up 12 places from 2022, with most of the team running lifetime bests.
• The women's team finished 12^th in the NCAA Great Lakes Region and Paige Anderson earned All-Region for the 2^nd consecutive season as well as a spot at the NCAA Championships where she finished 90th.
• We welcomed 11 new student-athletes to the program this year and recruiting has been quite successful with 10 commits for our 2024 class to date.

With a program on the move and growing each year we have identified some areas of need:

• Support for transportation costs for chartering 50 passenger busses to meets.
• Support for traveling to more competitive meets outside the Midwest.
• Providing student-athletes with greater training gear allocation.
• Providing the team with culture building experience during our pre-season camp.
