Volleyball

Due to COVID-19, the 2020-2021 season took place for us in the spring where we finished 6th in the Conference Tourney, which was higher than our original seeding going into the season. We had a super successful recruiting class for 2021! Seventeen first years joined us for this fall which brings our roster to the largest in K’s volleyball history with 21 athletes. In addition to our work on the court we strive for excellence in the classroom as well. For the 2020-2021 year:

• We were awarded for the 8th consecutive year in a row the USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award.
• First time in program history we made the USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award Honor
• Earned the 2020-2021 MIAA Team GPA Award.
• Had eight from our team named to the 2020-2021 MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
• We finished the academic year with a cumulative Team GPA of a 3.69

We want our athletes at K to have the best possible collegiate experience, and in order to do so we need some upgrades and changes to the infrastructure and backbone of our program. Here are a few things I’d like to add to our program with your help. First, some upgraded equipment; more volleyballs, speed radar guns, a net storage system, setter targets and our biggest equipment wish is to have a serving machine. Your help would allow us the ability to have these items in our program and help our athletes immensely.
