At John Carroll University, education is meant to be lived—connecting what students learn in the classroom to meaningful action in the world. During the 2026 Day of Giving, we invite you to support the Center for Service-Learning and Social Action, where academic learning and community engagement come together through high-impact experiential opportunities.

The work in CSSA prepares students to succeed in their careers by developing critical skills like leadership, communication, problem-solving, and cultural awareness—all gained through direct service and partnership in the community. Your support will directly fund CSSA Experiential Learning Programs, including Carroll Ballers, JDOS, Carroll Reads, and the Summer in the City Internship Program, which provide transformative, hands-on experiences beyond the classroom.
