Gifts to Entrepreneurship contribute to...
Thank you for supporting our Entrepreneurship program on JCU's Day of Giving. This year, our focus is raising support for our Collision Dinners.
Collision Dinners are held at least once each semester, but would love to do more. We have faculty nominate 8-10 students. We learn what their desired career path is, then we find 4-5 professionals for each student who do the thing they want to do. We send them all out to a local restaurant and the professionals learn about the student, share advice, their network, etc.
We've held 6 Collision Dinners so far, and we have 40-50 people at each event. Results: students are much more knowledgeable about career path options, nearly 10 internships, tons of job shadowing and follow-up meetings, and I think even a couple jobs. Cost for each dinner is $4K max. I'd love to have $20K to be able to do a bunch of them.
Thanks for your support!
