As JCU students, Bill Lynch and Jeff Todd, both Class of 1969, were active members of Alpha Epsilon Delta, a national pre-health honor society that also promoted active participation in campus activities. While preparing for future careers in healthcare, Alpha Epsilon Delta members successfully competed in intramural sports and in building floats for homecoming and other campus celebrations.

After JCU, Bill and Jeff both became family physicians, with Bill having first served as a Navy Medical Corps officer for 34 years and retiring as a Rear Admiral.

Inspired by John Carroll’s announcement about JCU's new College of Health in 2023, Drs. Lynch and Todd created the Alpha Epsilon Delta Endowed Scholarship. This fund will provide scholarship assistance to JCU students in the nursing, pre-medicine, or pre-dental programs.

This year, in the spirit of Alpha Epsilon Delta, we invite all former AED members and other supporters of the College of Health to contribute to this scholarship fund.
