John Carroll University Emergency Medical Services (JCU EMS) was established in April 2002 in response to the sudden and preventable death of a student. EMS was established by JCU students and is still run by JCU students who have Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B) training and certification. They work with the University Heights Fire Department for ambulance transport when necessary. EMS also works closely with the JCU Police Department and Office of Residence Life. JCU EMS is advised by the College of Health and receives medical direction from University Hospital physicians.
On this Day of Giving, we hope you inspire these students with a donation to JCU EMS. Your donation will go towards the purchase of an EMS Golf Cart to be used to service the JCU community. Golf Carts range from $15,000 - $20,000. Your donation will be greatly appreciated.
