In the Boler Professional Development Program, we see how a John Carroll education impacts each student we help on a daily basis. Funds from this year's Day of Giving will go towards developing new activities, experiences, and employer events to enhance the professional development of students in the Boler College of Business.
We continue our signature event this year with our "Boler" hat ceremony. The Bowler Hat (now called the "Boler Hat") originated in England in the late 1800's and was worn by business people up to the 1960's. Around the world, it was known as the symbol of a business person. All students in the Boler College of Business are provided their own "Boler Hat" to proudly wear as an aspiring business professional.
