Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging are central to the core mission of the John Carroll Community. We welcome all people from all backgrounds, faiths, and identities and we strive to ensure that everyone finds a deep sense of belonging. Our DEIB division includes the Center for Student Diversity and Inclusion, Student Accessibility Services, the Office of DEIB, and Title IX initiatives. Your support of our division helps provide a plethora of resources for students including:

• Mentoring for first year students from underrepresented identities
• Support for Veteran Students and their families
• Programs for first-generation students as they navigate their undergraduate experience
• Scholarships for experiential learning opportunities such as conferences, study abroad, research, and internships
• Accommodated testing services for students with disabilities along with much needed supportive technology
• Cultural programming for the entire John Carroll community throughout the year
