Boler Professional Development Program

In the Boler Professional Development Program, we see how a John Carroll education impacts each student we help on a daily basis. Funds from this year’s Day of Giving will go towards developing new activities, experiences and employer events to enhance the professional development of students in the Boler College of Business.

One of our new signature events this year is our “Boler” Hat ceremony. The Bowler Hat (now called the “Boler Hat”) originated in England int eh late 1800’s and was worn by business people up to the 1960’s. Around the world it was known as the symbol of a business person. All students in the Boler College of Business were provided their own “Boler Hat” to proudly wear as an aspiring business professional. And, future students will also receive a “Boler Hat.”

We hope you will help inspire our future by making a gift to the Boler Professional Development Program on Day of Giving. “BPD Bob” Stein will be matching all gifts, up to $10,000! And, any donor making a gift of $100 or more will receive their own “Boler Hat”
