Our Campaign

JMU Women’s Tennis has a long and storied history of success, and we are building on the achievements of past teams to create a championship-winning program reaching new heights in the national rankings.

To be the best, we have to beat the best, and that means traveling around the country to face top-ranked teams. One such trip takes us to California or Florida over spring break, where we can play 2–3 outdoor, nationally ranked matches to prepare for our conference schedule. These experiences sharpen our skills, expose us to elite competition, and set the team up for success.

Beyond the court, these trips foster camaraderie, create lifelong memories, and strengthen the bonds that make our team more than the sum of its parts. Your support plays a crucial role in helping JMU Women’s Tennis compete at the highest level and redefine what is possible.

About Funds Raised During Diggin'Dukes

One hundred percent (100%) of funds raised in support of JMU Women's Tennis during the Diggin’Dukes campaign immediately go to the JMU Women's Tennis Sport Program Fund (restricted-use fund) and benefit the JMU Women's Tennis student-athlete experience.

Sport program funds are restricted-use funds that can only be utilized by the individual sport program. 100% of gifts made to sport program funds go to the selected sport program and are 100% tax deductible.

Funds are allocated at the discretion of our coaches and administration.
