This year marks the 50th Anniversary of Wilma's Little People's School! Since 1973, the mission of WLPS has been to equip young minds with the tools necessary for a lifetime of learning. 2, 3, and 4-year-olds are taught in areas of movement, communication, music, art, mathematics, health/safety/nutrition, and the world around us.
WLPS lies in the heart of Jacksonville University’s campus and is a long-time beneficiary of Tim and Stephanie Cost, Dr. Fran Kinne, and Dr. Kay Johnson. Jacksonville University students often partner with WLPS for in-classroom experience for Education majors, Nursing students, service projects, and other employment opportunities.
WLPS kicked off its golden anniversary with a new brick walkway leading to the school! You can be a part of the legacy of WLPS by making a gift of $150 or more for an engraved brick in this new walking path. Gifts of all sizes directly support Wilma's growth with classroom supplies, playground equipment, and musical instruments for the students.
Thank you for supporting Wilma’s Little People School!
