This past year, alumni brothers of Sigma Delta Phi came together to establish the Sigma Delta Phi Alumni Scholarship. Founded in 1967, Sigma Delta Phi was the first fraternity on campus, and while the fraternity is no longer active, many members have answered the call to help Iona students through the new scholarship. In 2023, the University received more than $100,000 in gifts and pledges for the scholarship.
The scholarship plays a significant role in fostering academic excellence and supporting the educational pursuits of deserving individuals.
