St. Rose of Lima Catholic School

St. Rose of Lima Catholic School, located in Philadelphia's Overbrook neighborhood, nurtures the intellectual, emotional and spiritual growth of nearly 200 students.

This year, we are celebrating our 100th year of serving the children of our community!

How St. Rose of Lima is living out the IMS mission: We are preparing and nurturing students of all faiths to be caring, responsible and well-rounded citizens of character with a lifelong passion for learning, service and living Gospel values. We are committed to the students, parents and community that we serve. Conscious of the need to prepare our children for success in a rapidly changing and technology-driven world, we recognize that “the soul of education is the education of the soul.” (Pope Pius XI)

Charitable gifts in support of Mission Week touch all aspects of our school, providing us with the flexibility to use the gift where the need is greatest. Making a private Catholic education affordable to our families is a top priority, and we provide financial aid to every family that applies. The generosity of donors fuels this effort.

Donations also support academic enrichment, social-emotional learning, extra-curricular activities, like chess and ballroom dancing, after-school programming, like musical instrument instruction through Play on Philly, field trips, campus improvements, and more!
