Our Mother of Sorrows/St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic School

Our Mother of Sorrows/St. Ignatius of Loyola (OMSSI) Catholic School, located in West Philadelphia, nurtures the intellectual, emotional and spiritual growth of nearly 140 students.

How OMSSI is living out the IMS mission: We are providing a faith based, quality education in a healthy, respectful, caring environment.  Academically and socially, we help develop the whole child to meet the challenges of a global society.

Charitable gifts in support of Mission Week touch all aspects of our school, providing us with the flexibility to use the gift where the need is greatest.  Making a private Catholic education affordable to our families is a top priority, and we provide financial aid to every family that applies. The generosity of donors fuels this effort. 

Funds raised during Mission Week will also support the addition of a playground on our school campus, giving our students a safe and fun place to play outdoors.  

Donations also support academic enrichment, social-emotional learning, extra-curricular activities, like basketball, after-school programming, like Chess Club, school field trips, and more!
