It’s hard to believe that it’s been 50 years since we were students on the Hilltop. Doesn’t it feel like just yesterday that you braved the mad rush for lunch at Baxter, a battle was waged on “change and concern” and sophomore Class President Steve Scaife challenged the first-year men to tug-of-war at Homecoming?
We encourage you to embrace our 50th reunion as the perfect time to give back to our alma mater. In recognition of everything that Illinois College has helped us achieve, we are leading the effort to establish a $50,000 endowed scholarship honoring the Class of 1970.
You can make your full gift to the Class of 1970’s 50th Celebration endowed scholarship fund now or spread your pledge over five years. Not only will this scholarship create a lasting legacy for the Class of 1970, it will help future generations of Illinois College students have the same opportunity that we did.
