Benny's Pantry

Benny's Pantry provides food and resources for Idaho State Students when they need some extra assistance with meeting basic needs. With the rising costs for housing and other basic needs, it is often nutritious foods that students have to cut from their budgets.

Benny's Pantry has seen a growing need that matches those increases. In 2024 the pantry distributed 62,337 lbs of food to be able to help students through their educational journey. This was a significant increase from the 28,180lbs that went out in 2023.

As more people decide that an education is their best avenue to a more stable future, there are more and more students who rely on this kind of assistance as they work toward their goals. Our patrons often express how vital this resource is to them and Benny's Pantry hopes to be able to keep up with the growing needs so that our students at ISU can continue their diligence in their education.
