The Bluhm Scholars Program is an honors program in Classics that engages students in vital questions for our world today, about the uses and abuses of history, the reliability of evidence, and what makes for a good person and a good life.
Students travel all over NYC and abroad to Italy, Greece, and the Atlantic seaboard for cultural events, talks, and museum visits. We bring in leading scholars for colloquia. And we provide mentorship and workshops to prepare students for their professional lives beyond Hunter. Help them reach their potential! "Mihi cura futuri" is the Latin motto of Hunter College.
Your support will help reduce the financial burden of traveling abroad by covering transportation, meal, and housing cost. Furthermore, you will enable students to participate in summer research and fieldwork opportunities. Your contributions will also expand access to academic and professional opportunities!
