The Purple Apron Pantry at Hunter College is a free, student-run food pantry open to all CUNY students, dedicated to easing the burden of food insecurity so that students can focus on what matters most, their education and well-being. We believe that no student should have to choose between buying groceries and paying for textbooks, and every day we work to make sure our community has access to the nourishment they need to thrive.

This Giving Day, your support will help us do even more: funds raised will go directly toward keeping our shelves fully stocked between shipments, so students never arrive to find empty aisles, and toward expanding our offerings to include infant care supplies for student parents who are balancing the incredible challenge of raising a child while pursuing their degree.
