Gifts to Hunter College Libraries contribute to...
The Hunter College Libraries champion equitable access to knowledge, cultivate meaningful learning environments, and provide expertise to the entire Hunter community. Through our services and collections, we spark curiosity, encourage exploration, and help build the skills and confidence that support lifelong learning.
Funds raised will help us expand our print and digital collections and support the processing of several major donor-acquired collections in the Hunter College Archives, including the papers of Hunter alumna and 1988 Nobel Prize recipient Gertrude Elion; Daisy K. Shaw, a pioneer of high school and bilingual counseling in New York City; and former Hunter faculty member Hans Spiegel, who served as Deputy Assistant Commissioner of Urban Planning during the Kennedy and Johnson administrations.
We help provide students with the research and critical thinking they need to navigate the information landscape, in the classroom and beyond the bridges of Hunter into the future.
