About

The National Center for the Study of Collective Bargaining in Higher Education and the Professions is a research center that tracks higher education labor unions across the United States. Experience at the National Center provides Hunter students with research and publication opportunities as well as scholarly presentation opportunities at our annual national conference. The National Center offers students hands-on experience in applied research assisting them in academic and professional development along with serving as an introduction to the structure and function of labor law.

Your gift makes a difference by:

• Removing financial barriers by supporting National Center Research Projects (a website of searchable employment contracts, reports on academic freedom, anti-discrimination and immigration clauses in employment contracts).
• Expanding paid internships and research opportunities
• Strengthening core research skills of students that can benefit career outcomes, especially for students interested in labor law
• Supporting programs that prepare students to apply their research skills in interdisciplinary and professional manners

An investment in the National Center for the Study of Collective Bargaining is an investment in Hunter students and the Hunter community. Help us Bridge the Future and give students the tools to build a collaborative world.
