About

Founded by Paul Davidoff in 1965, Hunter Urban Policy and Planning (UPP) has always championed social justice and advocacy planning. Our mission is to prepare the next generation of practitioners to foster equity and sustainability in our cities.

Today, future urban planners require the power to analyze data and visualize change. With a goal of $25,000, UPP will invest directly in student success through critical technology upgrades and scholarships. Your support will provide high-performance computers that power GIS, data analysis, and design work, which are skills essential to tackling New York City's most urgent challenges, while also ensuring that talented students from all backgrounds can access this transformative education.

Your gift ensures that a world-class urban education remains accessible and that our students have the tools to design a better future for us all. You're empowering the next generation of planners to reimagine our neighborhoods, strengthen our infrastructure, and create a more urban future.
